In your eyes, what color is Vega? [Defocusing your scope is very helpful].

Images are certainly desireable, but let us know your color setting. I used 5800K for my setting, assuming that this would be our natural eye's best temp.

This comes from a post in another thread (http://www.bautforum.com/astronomy/17237-suns-intrinsic-color-5.html#post1073238) and is an off-shoot of heliochromology.

i took vega in a pic and was very blue so the first thing that poped in my head was blue...

Do you recall the camera and settings?

Do you have blue eyes? [My son has blue eyes and sees objects bluer than I, but he is also younger with greater aperature, too.]

its a konica g600 taken 2005/08/26 2816x2112 dpi 72.
focal l 8 mm
exposure 15 sec f 2.8 iso 50
