See his rumors or say misconceptions: Just for fun and not to take otherwise. One of my friend said

1. The US airforce has already caught a real alien and kept in the Nevada region before some ten years, and scientists are researching that alien.
2. . All UFO’s are the creations of our people there are no real UFO’s.
3. . The B2 plane can reach on moon within a day. 4. The US scientists are making a man who can inhale the carbon and exhale the oxygen as the trees do. 5. The space is made of 5 layers the bottom one is more rigid planets, the fourth one is having middleweight planets, including some comets, the third one is partial weight and partial gas planets, the second one layer is made of only stars but not in plasma state of matter and the very first layer of stars is made of plasma state of matter. 6. The sky is horizontally and vertically equal in length and breadth.

There is still huge "masala" in his head. (masala means stuff).

Numbers 1 and 2 are contradictory, aren't they? If "there are no real UFO's," then how did the "real alien" they caught get here? :)

There aren't any real UFOs because they're too scared of being abducted by USAF B2 spaceplanes. They steer clear of Earth's neighborhood.

They´re really interesting, suntrack. :)

3. . The B2 plane can reach on moon within a day.

The max speed for the B2 is 764 km/h, according to Wikipedia. It would take about 500 hours (three weeks) to fly a distance of 385,000 km, which is the Earth-Moon distance.

5. The space is made of 5 layers the bottom one is more rigid planets, the fourth one is having middleweight planets, including some comets, the third one is partial weight and partial gas planets, the second one layer is made of only stars but not in plasma state of matter and the very first layer of stars is made of plasma state of matter.

This reminds me of the ancient Aristotelian universe.

Tell him I'm the only ET observer assigned to Earth and I've never been to Nevada. Not yet anyway. Those casino implosions in Vegas look pretty cool.
I had a friend who thought you could only stand an egg on end in Australia. 'Corrected her.

4. The US scientists are making a man who can inhale the carbon and exhale the oxygen as the trees do.

What would be the purpose of that, when trees already exist?

[edit]The max speed for the B2 is 764 km/h, according to Wikipedia. It would take about 500 hours (three weeks) to fly a distance of 385,000 km, which is the Earth-Moon distance....Plus there might be a small but significant fuel/oxidizer problem along the way. Not to mention control issues and such trivial things as thrust/mass ratios. Then there's the masala about life-support.

suntrack2, I suggest you give your friend a copy of this book by Michael Shermer (http://books.google.com/books?id=oZpEZuO7o-IC&dq=wh+people+believe+weird+things&pg=PP1&ots=VyBa9h-ZvJ&sig=_gHJZsGHHZWrFefTnC24ShPgim4&prev=http://www.google.com/search%3Fq%3DWh%2Bpeople%2Bbelieve%2Bweird%2Bthing s%26ie%3Dutf-8%26oe%3Dutf-8%26aq%3Dt%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26client%3Dfirefox-a&sa=X&oi=print&ct=title&cad=one-book-with-thumbnail#PPP1,M1) and insist that it be read and understood.

There is still huge "masala" in his head. (masala means stuff).

Does masala mean "stuff"? I thought it meant "spice". Or is the same word used for both?

Maksutov

A friend of mine from New Delhi used it to mean "spices", and also "mixture".

yes, this is a marathi and hindi word "masala" and the meaning of this a. stuff, b. big interesting material, c. spices. this word is also use in the bollywood movies, when there is a fun/fighting/fiction/fear it's total addition is "masala".There are huge spectetors of this type of masala films in India, even the spectetors here also thirsy about hollywood masala films.

Maksutov, the mixture is also one of the meaning, you are right.

I am thankful for the above mentioned comments, they are really interesting, this frind is a senior engineer in oracle at Banglore, infact this friend is just junior than me, but whenever he meets he says something different. :)

Argos, I will ask him that "one person is saying in 500 hours the B2 will reach on moon, and you are saying in 24 hours How then? :)

Well, the fact is that a B2 will never reach the Moon. Alternatively, you could tell him that a vehicle especially designed for that purpose, and capable of a maximum speed of 40,000 km/h, has taken almost four days.

Yes, and I will also ask him that is there a short cut to reach the moon, if so then it will be pretty cool for us. :)
