We haven't even detected regular gravitons or any sign of "strings" yet, how can we detect extradimensional ones?

Noclevername. Before they get excited about possible Kaluza-Klein gravitons at the LHC, they ought to review the results from C.E.R.N. and Fermilab's Tevatron on the Z-pole. The exploration of the Z-pole in the late eighties, the resonance that confirmed by its' relatively narrow width..(hence many branching decay channels)...that there were only three families of particles in the Standard Model..(and that they've all been seen since then..top, bottom quark).
One of the variants of the Z0 in the many varied modes of Z decay causing the Z-pole is a neutrino/antineutrino pair. As such, this particular Z qualifies for the graviton predicted to exist by Nobel Laureate physicist and noted author George Gamow in his little text, "Gravity"...a Harvard Project Physics Reader from the sixties. So, we have detected "regular gravitons", and they are generated in neutral current interactions of neutrino/antineutrino fluxes traveling through matter paths.....very similar experimental territory to that used to determine matter oscillations, which cause MSW flavor mixing in neutrino beams, except that in this case, the neutral current Z enables the beam to change the frequency and energy of the impinging neutrino/antineutrino.
This is not new physics but old Standard Model tricks, and was used to predict varying "G" with varying ambient neutrino flux back in April of 1982. It's interesting to note that the Z couples to all the members of the Standard Model, all the quarks, and all the leptons, as it is universal in its' interactions. Quantum gravity coupled with a quantum carrier, known, corroborated experimentally, and matching in properties those that Gamow predicted...integral spin, no charge, boson, coupling to all matter.
