Hi everyone, I recently found a 120mm telescope on sale for a great price, but unfortately the tripod is only an altazimuth type so it's hard to track objects.

I can't seem to find anywhere that sells equatorial mounts, I don't need a really expensive one just something basic.

Does anyone know any online stores thats sell that kind of thing, and can anyone recommend a good product? Thanks.

Check out the EQ-2. (http://www.telescope.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=375&itemType=PRODUCT&iMainCa t=6&iSubCat=24&iProductID=375) I have two. Caution, something in about the 5" range is as big as you want to go. Anything bigger, you might want to consider the AstroView. Orion is very good at answering questions about their products. E-mail 'em, tell 'em what scope ya got, how much it weighs, its tube diameter, and they'll tell ya what they think ya need. Naturally, such info straight from the dealer should be taken with appropriate quantities of NaCl....checking with others in the know wouldn't hurt either. This'll get ya started, though.
