Bad astronomy in the article.

The next member of the gang expected to go supernova is Antares, which at almost 500,000 light-years away is too distant to rattle our planet, they say.
More like 500 LY. (Actually 520 LY)

I just sent a note to the writer of that article. He has been very good about fixing any errors in his work in the past, so I expect this will get fixed quickly. Thanks for the note!
