Asteroid Flyby (http://www.spaceweather.com/)

It's only 18 metres across, but it passed by last night at a distance of only 0.4 Lunar Distance - it was just discovered a day ago!

Oh we'll get whacked one of these days, but, like plane crashes, they don't happen very often and on average we're probably pretty safe.

Perhaps we should put up some search radars, but that would just get the alien's attention. It's a lose-lose situation.
