I like Sirius! Just south of Orion, too.

East, to be more exact ;) almost directly in line with his belt even.

I just went for a walk an hour ago and I do see it's a little south of the "belt line". Sirius was bright, but Orion could barely be seen through the streetlights of Bowie (it's better behind my house, but still not so great).
