They got that nice peaceful civilian rocket
working perfectly and only weeks after the
Jupiter launched Explorer 1. I expect the
orbit has become more circular over 50 years.
How many more years might it have? My Vanguard,
A History, talked about several hundred as I
remember. Funny that I have wondered about a
recovery as well. Those 50 year old components
might have quite a story in them.
