Dear Mom, Dad, and everybody back home,
Enceladus is (literally) a very cool place. Flying through the jets was a bracing experience that I will never forget, to say the least. I'll send you some more pics when I can. Did you like the last batch? Saturn is such a beautiful place. I wish you all could be here.

2008-Mar-30, 08:48 PM
Dear Cassini,

when are you going to come home and get a real job, or get married?

2008-Mar-30, 09:00 PM
Dear NASA.

Can you hear me now?

Good. (Hee hee.)

Say hi to 'Little Sis' for me.

2008-Mar-30, 09:02 PM
Dear Mars Polar Lander.

Call your mother. She worries.

Love, Earth.

Dear Diary,
Today some guys tried to shut me down, but it was prevented. But hey, that's what friends are for. I'm lucky to have friends like that. The thought of those bean counters makes all six of my wheels shake.

Dear Cassini.

When drawing up your list of vacation plans, put timeshares on Titan very low on your list. It's been cold and rainy since I got here, they can't mix a martini worth a darn, and something smells really, really weird at the condo. I think some critter crawled under the porch and died or something, but they won't do anything about it.

I should have stuck with the tour company you and the Voyager sisters are always on about. Yeah, I know, you told me so. I just didn't want to move around so much. You know...

"Wish you were here (instead of me)."

Miss you, Huygens.

...Enceladus is (litterally)...:(

Dear Earth

The rocks on Mars are really hard.

Dear Friends on Earth,
Jupiter was a blast. Just twirling my thumbs now, not much to report. The spaces between planets are big and lonely. Not so much as an asteroid for companionship. Going to go look at my piece of SpaceShipOne now. Tell me, how is the development of SS2 going? I enjoy reading your letters, I won't have much else to do for a few years.
Ta for now,
New Horizions.

Ta for now,
New Horizions.

PS: Are we there yet? :p

2008-Apr-02, 08:48 PM
Dear Space Fans,
Yes, Virgle was a joke. Yes, we wish it was true, too. But it was April Fools Day and you're supposed to make jokes. So, would you please stop throwing rotten fruit at us?

Dear All, I see you have still not acknowledged
the best theory for these bangs...Oops..there
goes another one!

Ahhh! Woooh! What's happening? Who am I? Why am I here? What's my purpose in life? What do I mean by who am I? Okay okay, calm down calm down get a grip now. Ooh, this is an interesting sensation. What is it? Its a sort of tingling in my... well I suppose I better start finding names for things. Lets call it an... antenna ! Yeah! Antenna! Yeah, this is really exciting. I'm dizzy with anticipation! And what's this thing coming toward me very fast? So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like 'Oon', 'Moo', 'Moon'! That's it! Moon! Ha! I wonder if it'll be friends with me? Hello, Moon!

2008-Apr-03, 11:37 PM
Dear NASA,
I kind of liked being called Deep Impact. Why did you have to change my name to that smelly stuff inside of walls?

2008-Apr-06, 06:41 PM
Dear All, I trust you are still leaning on the
right people to get the status of the body
restored. Otherwise I might suffer a glitch
when I get there. Cheerybye.

Mew Horizons.

2008-Apr-06, 08:00 PM
Mew Horizons?

2008-Apr-06, 09:24 PM
Yeah, but don't worry, the probe'll come back the very next day.

2008-Apr-06, 09:32 PM
I was thinking of "Super Troopers".

2008-Apr-06, 11:04 PM
Dear Earth
The rocks on Mars are really hard.

Told you not to speed!

2008-Apr-07, 04:10 AM
I've gone to pieces over this!

mike alexander
2008-Apr-07, 04:24 PM
Wow. I feel MUCH more empowered now, since aliens removed that nasty plaque on my skin. Bothered me for years. Itchy.

2008-Apr-07, 09:50 PM
Dear Earth,
Mars is looking bigger and bigger to me. Sorry that I won't be around to celebrate Earth Day. Tell me how it goes. But I'm set to arrive on the International Day of the Jedi, and that'll give us something to celebrate.
See ya then,

mike alexander

Ten thousand cattle, gone astray;
Left my range and travelled away.
Sons of guns, I'm here to say,
Have left me dead broke, dead broke today,

In gambling halls delaying;
Ten thousand cattle straying...

Dear friends,
This will be my last letter. But don't remember me for this. Remember me when I was young and sending you pics of sungrazer comets.
P.S. Give my yo-yo to Joe.
