Yes...you read correctly. Just got back from my local Best Buy store and found out they are (one) of the retail distributors for spacecraft films. (Through FOX home video)

Present selections include: Project Gemini, Apollo 8, Apollo 11, and the Mighty Saturns, with more selections to come after the beginning of the year.

Life is good!! :)

Are these real NASA approved dvds ? I mean is there real footage or is it "reinactments"?

Not NASA approved, but Mark Gray, the guy who runs Spacecraft Films, is a real space nut and digs into any archive to find the best footage available and does, whenever possible, new transfers from video or film footage from as close the original source as possible. No reinactments at all, just the pure, real stuff from the archives. IIRC, one of the few concessions to the public was, to add sound to most launch movies, which were often recorded without sound.
