View Full Version : A little confusion

Hi everyone, I was reading thislink off godlike. It sounds like real balony like most things there but it raises some questions or confusion if you may on my part.

http://www.godlikeproductions.com/bbs/message.php?message=171090&mpage=1&topic=3&showwee k=10/6/2003&PHPSESSID=4bb2864d274ad3269b8e45883b79a5ff

For example: I always thought the the pyramod timeline ended in 2002 september i think and the author mentions 2003 also I thought that the mayan calender converted to ours is the year 2012 and according to this some people say it really coverts to 2003...Anyone have a good knowledge about this...

I think its just a way to preach more doom and gloom. Chill out.

That I know the article is bull but I am curious about the dates it aint the first time or place i heard about it being 2003 and not 2012

2003-Oct-08, 09:28 PM
I think the date is December 21, 2012. Even so, I wouldn't worry about it. Calendars from ancient civilizations have ended before and were still here.

A little confusion? What's really confusing me, bmpbmp, is why you continue to post links to godlike threads. This has gotten really OLD. In that one thread we have the "opinion" of an astrologer, AND "psychic sylvia brown". Come on! Get real!! This "stuff" is a waste of bandwidth.

No i dont find the article confusing I find the timeline thing confusing, which is it 2003 or 2012... I have read a different places that both are possible

2003-Oct-08, 09:39 PM
It's 2012, but it doesn't really matter. Nothing is going to happen anyway.

Thanks Obiwan but where does the 2003 confusion come in

2003-Oct-08, 09:48 PM

apparently it has happened before when the planet align with the star of david or something

I liked the part where they were "affording Chiron planetary status" in order to make things work out perfectly... :)

Do some astrology and then come fight me!

It's things like this that make these people dumb.

What does it mean? Who knows? Who cares? It's based in astrology so I can guarantee its status as bunk.

There's also the fact that the 2012 date is just a rollover date.
Like older cars whose odometer only had 5 numbers. 99,999 miles +1 = 00,000 miles on the odometer, big deal, just ad a mental 100k to it. I never heard of a car exploding or quitting at 100k... well maybe a Pinto that got rear-ended right when it hit 100k.

Oh, and here (http://www.badastronomy.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=4794&start=0) is a thread here that pretty much ran 2012 into the ground back in April.

[edited to add: Hey cool, 101 posts, bad apprentice now. Do I get a Bozo Button or anything?]

Remain calm.*

*Thanks to whoever it was around here who used to say that to the worriers.

Interestingly, they tell me that on November 8, 2003, we will have exactly one galactic spin cycle left (as reckoned in the Mayan
Calendar) to complete the realignment of humanity to the cycles naturally experienced by Mother Earth.

Cool, the galaxy is a giant washing machine!

I think the sweater I'm wearing today has one spin cycle left before it realigns itself with the harmonies of Mother Earth.
