View Full Version : Whatever Happened to the Ball Bearings NASA Made?

Ages ago, I heard that NASA was trying to find folks who wanted some ball bearings that they had made on a shuttle flight. For some reason (IIRC, it had something the massive amount of paperwork involved.) no one was wanted them. Did NASA ever find anyone to take them off their hands? If so, what happened to them?

Nope. These were ball bearings, you know, ball shaped hunks of steel, not the microspheres.

You might try checking through NASA's Spinoff files. I took a quick look and didn't find anything, but there's a lot there.
