Everyone loves a theme. And this week we've collected together some of your questions about relativity. More light speed spacecraft, twin paradoxes, and the mixing up of gravity, time and mass. If you've got a question for the Astronomy Cast team, please email it in to info@astronomycast.com and we'll try to tackle it for a future show. Please include your location and a way to pronounce your name.http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/astronomycast/~4/yIdknmyRAH4

I suggest that the answer to the question on which person has the preferred frame of reference for the twin paradox is that the moving person will always age less due to the fact they accelerate, decelerate and then accelerate. The other observer is at rest. Relative motion does not count, acceleration does.

Welcome to BAUT Forum.

I suggest that the answer to the question on which person has the preferred frame of reference for the twin paradox is [...]

You may wish to check some of the many twin-paradox BAUT Forum topics that have preceded your suggestion.

Twin paradox resolved (http://www.bautforum.com/general-science/53944-twin-paradox-resolved.html)
Is there a preferred frame of reference? (http://www.bautforum.com/against-mainstream/64155-there-preferred-frame-reference.html)
the twin paradox (http://www.bautforum.com/questions-answers/73049-twin-paradox.html)

I'm sure there are many more. This was a quick search. The twins get discussed a lot. I'm not vouching for any of these topics, but it will give you an idea where many BAUT members stand, and how you might expect your suggestion to be received. Note that many of the topics come from the Against the Mainstream section, so be on guard for radical claims in some articles.
