Hi Everyone,

I'll be over in the EU working on Portal to the Universe and some Galaxy Zoo related projects for the later half of November, and I'm planning to plunk my self down in London's Mabel's Tavern (http://www.shepherd-neame.co.uk/pubs/pubs.php/mabels) on Sunday November 23rd. With me will be my collaborator, Astronomy Cast Live contributor and PI of the Galaxy Zoo project, Chris Lintott. (http://www.chrislintott.net) We'll be there from 2pm to 5pm.

Will you join us? Please?

Cheers,
Pamela

Have you come apart? I've got some duct tape...

I'm just bumping this for more visibility.

Londoners, and others nearby, be there. How can you resist? Chris Lintott and Pamela Gay?

Sunday. November 23. 1400 to 1700. Mabel's Tavern.

Why do you guys never visit anywhere further than London :(

How about coming up to Newcastle some time

BTW unfortunately I have other prior commitments on that date

Wow. It would be SO easy for me to be there.

That's like five minutes from where I live. It would be half an hour door to door.

Ms Gay, there's the JFK memorial bust, near that pub. couple of kilometres, bearing west, along the main Euston road.
Just past Great Portland Street station.

Considering the date, I dared to think you might want/like to make time and visit it!

Hi Mahesh,

It's Dr Gay or Pamela, and Pamela is preferred :-)

Will likely check out the statue while walking all over the city. It will be a fabulous trip.

Cheers,
Pamela

Well! It's a small world...even on the 'net!
Imagine bumping into you, Dr Gay, er, Pamela, just now!

Yah, sure, you'd have a fabulous trip through London and Europe.

Hope the weather holds out for you guys...rain-wise. oh what the ....a few drops...don't hurt nobody...

see you later, soon !

It would be great if they would travel up North, as London is a long and expensive trip :(

Looking forward to meeting you Pamela in the flesh, rather than over the airwaves! Mark

After all the anticipation, I've been building up last few days...i am so so sorry Pamela and Chris, that I am not able to come say hello to you folks and your colleagues at Mabel's Tavern. Considering we are about four, five max. miles apart.....

unforeseen stuff came up last night...(my baby and pet related). nothing negative, assure you.

have a lovely event you all...

warmest regards

Many thanks for Pamela for her kind invitation; she was of course lovely to meet and very friendly. I must apologise for leaving a bit early without saying goodbye, but I had an appointment and I didn't want to interrupt her.
