Welcome to BAUT Forum.

My own take on cosmology and global warming can be found at http//www.colutron.com/products/cosmos.html

Link is http://www.colutron.com/products/cosmos.html

It's my lucky day. It's another link that needs a description for those who enjoy knowing where they are going. Since the author declined, I guess it's up to others. I'll do what I can.

The page looks like an ad for books by Lars Wahlin. I don't know if there's really anything to provide as a sample that isn't just a one-sentence blurb for a book. At least this author is offering free downloads (PDF, ZIP files), as opposed to the previous site I encountered today over in that "golf-ball" crater topic.

So, if you want to be offered a chance to download some books, without really knowing what the books are about, other than at the very broad topic level, this site is for you. If anyone does so, and reads them (or if the original author wants to provide some details), do let us know here what we might expect.

I thought the site needed a whole lot more description of what information it was offering.

I had a quick look and they are both ATM. e.g. Disputing the greenhouse effect and claiming that the universe is contracting.

I admire your curiosity. Thank you for the service to your fellow participants.

Attention, peddlers and offerers of Against the Mainstream books, documents, and ideas: Please, please, please use the section entitled Against the Mainstream (http://www.bautforum.com/against-mainstream/) to promote Against the Mainstream materials and ideas. That why it exists. (And if you're just selling something, skip BAUT Forum altogether.)

Thank you.

Hi Lars, welcome to the BAUT forum.

If you want to discuss *your* ideas about cosmology, we have a subsection called Against The Mainstream (or ATM as noted above). This is a place where you can get your ideas vetted by people on the forum.

In the main areas of the forum, you are welcome to discuss astronomy and spaceflight, but you must not promote any ATM topics.

Please note that we don't favor global warming as a topic, unless you are specifically detailing how it fits in with astronomy or spaceflight.

Please also read the rules of the forum.

Sorry about mentioning my home page. I ment it to be part of my profile. I was very happy to find the Bad Astronomy web site. It shows me there are many dissidents like myself out there and I just have to learn the ropes about the forum procedures Lars
