Why did the last post I made, as a response to my own thread, need mod approval before it gets posted?
Just curious.

Steve

Did it contain a URL link?

It's probably being eyeballed as an anti-spam measure. It's something new people have to endure, until they reach the magic threshold, which isn't very high.

Still not sure what it was specifically about my post that caused it to be sent for review, but I guess I'll wait for it to appear.
Thanks for the response.

Any time you quote a post and have less than 10 total posts (as a newbie), your post is sent for review.

There are certain keywords associated with spam that flag a post for review. Some are pretty obvious ("Viagra", "Nokia"), others are not.

Are there any keywords in the list with "funny" characters? Like accents, or semi-colons, etc? I'm thinking of the "time in subject" bug.

No, nothing like that.
