Excellent series and good example of how seeing varies.

I missed a couple clear nights here. Temperatures were -30C to -39C and I had a tremendous weight of snow on the roof. Too much for it to move. Finally warm enough today (actually reached -20C) that I was able to get enough off to allow opening up but then the clouds returned! That's the way here. "Warm" when cloudy, cold when clear. Sun has no warmth that low in the sky. But I can already see it getting higher!

Very nice. Mars has been a tough target this opposition, with it so being small and with little good seeing.
