Have a good night.

I dunno; I think I am the product of evolution, but I expect the supernatural had some part to play.

Thanks, I'm fine.
It's rare you get asked this question any more, and even rarer that someone expects a honest answer.

But I actually am fine now. The sun is shining, there's a lovely winter landscape out there, and I'm in a warm office. :)

;)

I'm fine except for a busted ankle which is healing slower than I'd prefer.

On Saturday, I threw caution to the wind and decided to stop worrying, I needed a rest. Amazingly, the world didn't fall apart and the sun came up on Sunday. :)

THY, Henrik, Eric, I hope things improve.

Since my only goal is to stay alive for the rest of my life, things can't really go too badly.

Have you thought of posting on BAUT? I hear that's a good way to wile away the hours.

WaxRubiks

you mean BAUT is real??!!

I always thought it was part of my imagination.

ETA: anyway, after I worked out the blackhole mystery....I've sort of lost my drive...

I seem to be in a hurry all the time, life just rushes by me and I never stop to smell the roses. The only thing is I seem to be going backward trying so hard to go forward.

Christians to the right of me, Satanists to the left.

I dunno.

I'm serious.

Pull out a big feather and tickle the hell out of the satanists.

I'm pretty good, except for this cold that has me hacking . I won't reveal the details. But life, even with snow is pretty good.
Saw about twenty turkeys out in the field this afternoon.

Turning crotchety.

On the other hand, I still get to look at the daisies from above.

It's the first day of the new semester, and my brain is still on vacation. But I'm managing to stay afloat. Barely.

Good to see you around TRS.

Good to see you around TRS.

Thanks. Glad to know I'm still remembered... I probably did not have the most pleasant personality during my peak at BAUT... :o

So much has changed here, but mostly I think it's me...

Kaptain K, I love it!

Me? I am in love and all is right with the world ;)

ETA How are you?

25 or so years ago, at about this time of year I would have been under water for a couple of months. Any day you can see the sky, talk to the ones you love, and sleep in a real bed is a good day!

Well, I have been away from internet forums for yeeeeears. Or any other kind of internet community, so to speak. No instant messengers, no facebook/orkut/myspace, forums, blogs, nothing. Then I joined a few forums recently I got caught offguard by the seemingly increased population of internet bullies and trolls.

Either that or the scent of fresh meat attracts them.

Other than that little nose hair like annoyance, things are ok. =)

Sorry about your ankle, Henrik. Kaptain K gave me a laugh.

I'm hungry. Tempted to run down to the nearest Sonic and get a gooey cheesy foot-long chili dog. :D

Feel better today, although I have this very painful sensitive tooth that knocks me sick when its aggravated! :(

Anybody have any suggestions? since I can't get to see the dentist till Feb the first! :(

WaxRubiks

I use clove oil, for all my dental needs.http://www.milliondollarsmileusa.com/teeth/mdsebayad/sparkle.jpg

Plus last time I had a tooth ache, I found that putting my head near my table lamp and getting the warmth on my jaw, and looking into the bright light, helped with the pain, for some reason.

Thanks I'll give that a shot, the pain is excruciating when it starts. Last time I felt pain like this was when I lost my thumb in an engineering accident. :(

Oh my goodness, cosmocrazy. :( Have you tried over-the-counter tooth pain relievers like Oragel? They're in gel and paste forms. Might want to smear a good quantity of it over the sore area. :(

Ouch!:(

Was it reattachable?

Recovering well thank you for asking TRS, how are you?

cosmocrazy

Ouch!:(

Was it reattachable?

No, it was ripped off from the top knuckle joint when a metal pipe i was grinding got caught in the grinding wheel taking my thumb with it. When i looked down half my thumb was gone. It was smeared across the grinding wheel...

The real pain came when they decided to take off the initial dressing at the hospital. This was now melded in the wound so as they tried to remove it the pain made me physically sick.

It was years ago now and to be honest I don't have any problems, only when I try to grasp something really small. :)
