    Hey pudasaini

how are you? How are things astronomy-wise with you?
did you have any luck contacting the various folk and sharing stuff/activities...in this year of IYA?

I realise it's not easy (time-wise) being a full time student and participating on boards, like BAUT....but it'd be good if you can find some time to keep in touch. It may be brief.

Thanks and take care. I do wonder about you and your endeavours, sometimes.
It will be good to hear from you.

    Again...take care.

    sounds like a great mentor!
do you know him / of him?

Also, here are seventeen astronomy clubs listed for Nepal.
perhaps you could look ibnto these for further guidance.

    hey gd...

visit this nice link from south africa about the eclipse today.
i chose this randomly. googled eclipse.

    and then this...

you have to be alert and receptive to the activities around you. did you contact those guys at Kathmandu University? the link i pointed you at ?

i wouldn't worry too much about buying a 'scope if i were you...at the moment. i appreciate your deep enthusiasm, and the encouragement you get from our fellow BAUTzens here. you need to be practical in your outlook. if i had tons of money to spare, i'd buy a 'scope and send it to you, so that you could enjoy and share it with others. but i do not have and much as i would like to do that, i can not. so let's be practical.

you've got to do things step by step. we didn't get to land on our moon by leaping. it has been a loooong process, stretching thoouusands of years. here i go on my soap box....
sorry gd....i'll try look what we can do and share with you so you can in turn, share with your friends/neighbours/family...okay?

    regards
