In case anyone noticed my absence, I was in the hospital for a couple days last week for ACS (from newly diagnosed CAD). Luckily, it was just a UA and not an MI, but needed a PCI (DES) in the LAD.

In case anyone was following a statement I made the other day about my grandfather... he did pass away Saturday afternoon. I'll be tripping to FL for a few days next week.

Some would say that is the best time to do some thinking.

I am home now, as of yesterday afternoon, and feeling better, though still in pain. I'll post when I can, but it might not be wise to try thinking while under the influence of narcotics.

Surgery went well and I am recovering, but I have now tested positive for MRSA, which means I have to have a private room.

Okay, my surgery is tomorrow, Thursday, September 3rd. If you don't hear from me, well, you'll know what to do.

Have some drinks and remember to live life more fully.
