The "Solar Mystery". New particle? New physics? Interesting.

Summary: Scientists find a correlation between atomic decay rate variations and the Earth's seasons, causing speculation that the sun may be emitting some kind of new particle that alters the rate of atomic decay. It's also speculated that neutrinos could be doing this somehow.

The short of it: We may shortly discover a new particle or a new branch of physics.

My $00.02: I'm glad to be living in these times. Science rocks.
