The best way to do that is to start off on the right foot.

Hobbits used to say "Happy Hollow Days" because they didn't have Christmas back then but they did have valleys.

Maybe now it is this way but the routine was originally designed to let people know of an incoming storm, especially hurricanes, and to teach them the precautions that they needed to take to survive. Mimes were revered as heroic ambassadors of public safety.

mimes first appeared in Paris during WW II where they were a secret arm of the French underground intended to slowly torment and hopefully drive the Nazis back to Germany.

NASA was recruiting mimes for manned moon missions so they wouldn't have to buy so many space suit radios, but fuel for the return flights kept mysteriously disappearing.

This just in: When asked by a new user what it would take to sling Uranus out of the solar system, the mods erased the entire thread and post, fearing the folks in Fun-N-Games would not be able to behave themselves in reply.

Rats! Or as Pluto attempted to post, "What a Mickey-Mouse outfit!"

(only joking; off to the banned thread so you mod types can heap mighty righteous revenge upon me)

Technically, righteous revenge is never "heaped", it is bestowed.

Slinging Uranus out of the solar system is totally possible and only requires an extremely large boot to execute.

The earth's poles have flipped since The Mayans invented their calendar, so the next summer solstice is really the previous winter solstice.

I take back what I said two posts up. It would be a lot cheaper to pass on buying the cowboy boot and to buy western wear in its stead.

I remember reading once this was due to the invisible box the fuel was kept in had an invisible leak.

The serpent in the Eden story is appealing the decision against him. It seems that only eating the forbidden fruit was banned. Nothing was ever said about lying about it. But opposing lawyers say he hasn't got a leg to stand on.

If we ever revive Homo erectus from fossil DNA, we're going to owe them a lot in back royalties for the use of fire.
