I really hope this was intended for the “untrue facts” thread.
In Australia we have a beer called “Fat Yak”, who make these cool really-hairy stubby-holders.

Japanese uses the "W" symbol as shorthand for the loan word "daburu", or "double".
"Occam" is the name of the alien race that will enslave us all eventually. And they've got razors for hands. I don't know if that's true but it seems like the simplest answer."

42 added to its reverse is 16+61=77.
52 added to its reverse is 25+52=77.

Coincidence, or a revelation of some deep underlying property of mathematics?

    That is interesting.

I wonder if one could re-do the number line--with the first "interesting" number being the digit one, pi as 3, and so on...

Apparently braille can be written on a computer screen. No one has explained to me precisely why this is.

So that it can be printed using a Braille embosser.
Braille books need typesetting. After checking the text in a conventional font, the typesetter converts to Braille and does layout adjustments that meet the usability requirements of the blind reader. It's particularly useful if you're trying to lay out text in both printed characters and Braille, which is common.
