Doesn't the word UNIX come from what Tarzan said when he first met the singer from Fleetwood Mac?

No, it's the reproachful comment made by the victim of a practical joke by the New York NBA team.

If they had that one, I would never be able to post there.

I do believe that the "Endgame" SPOILER thread has already, after nine posts, travelled into more abstruse and angels-dancing-on-a-pinhead regions of human thought than the Thread That Dare Not Speak Its Name has managed to encompass after 13,000 posts.
No criticism of the former, just noting the unremarkable nature of the latter.

From the Color of Fusion Rocket thread. The answer is blue. That is always how it appears on TV.

    Uranus Opposes Sun

There's an obvious joke here about "where the Sun does shine," but I wouldn't be the one to make it. No sir!

I was tempted to put this in the "What are you reading?" thread.

"Today, I read Weltraumwetterüberwachungssystem. It's German for '[outer] space weather monitoring system' and it took me all day to parse that out."

I just like that German monitoring is "wachung". It sounds more like a sound effect from a Kung Fu movie. Wachung!

From the Why is North Up? thread:

A man walks a kilometer south, a kilometer east, and a kilometer north, and he is back where he started. He sees a bear. What color is the bear?
    It's a penguin.
