Hi, just thought I'd put this up to share as a contribution to the community.

I work closely with a certain school (which might have something to do with three teenagers), and observing how they run their music program, I have started to put together some ideas for Astronomy Pathways.

In Australia there is a definite "uptick" in curriculum enrichment and enhancement activities in the Year 9 (14 years olds). The idea being that capturing & cultivating their passion for Astronomy/Space will help build a greater pipeline of maths/science (and I believe in the US the STEM curriculum) that would flow through to College/University studies.

This is still fairly conceptual at this stage, just putting it out there, would love to hear feedback. I have been welcomed into one school to assist with at least the first step or two (so far) of this approach.
