Why does the Kuiper Belt have its own forum?

I'm not certain this was well thought out.

I moved this thread from the Kuiper Belt forum to Feedback.

As to your question, it relates to the merger of the CQ and BAUT forums. The Kuiper Belt forum is from the pre-BAUT CQ forum and it addresses their needs and interests. Depending upon on how the mergered forum continues to evolve, this may be changed at some future date; there has already been signficant restructuring over the last several months.

Pity. It would have increased the thread total by 25%.

Because it's competing with Jupiter and the Sun for attention.

How many months does it take to notice a dead forum? Seems to me the "significant restructuring" isn't going very "swift".

I note the smilies, but will give a serious answer (I have that problem some times). What is the rush? And why is this such a serious problem?

By the way my nom-de-net has nothing to do with either speed, nor the bird, nor the space probe, but refers to this fellow, who had some very interesting proposals.

    That's hardly modest.

You're looking for the chastity belt forum.
