That's a little bit (I hope accidentally) humorous, and I doubt they would go for it. In Chinese, that phrase (希望不大 in Hanzi) basically means "a snowball's chances in hell". Literally it means "not much hope".

"Tianwen 1 sends photo of Earth, moon from 1.2 million km away"

    http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/a/20200...81725ca6d.html

China's Tianwen 1 Mars probe sent back a picture of Earth and the moon to ground control on Monday, the China National Space Administration said on Tuesday.

The black-and-white picture was taken by the optical navigation sensor on the spacecraft when it was about 1.2 million kilometers away from Earth at the time it was shot, the administration said in a statement, noting the operation was controlled by the Beijing Aerospace Control Center and China Academy of Space Technology.

"Mars probe makes 1st mid-course correction maneuver"

    http://124.127.52.76/a/202008/02/WS5...81725d9b8.html

China's Tianwen 1 Mars probe carried out its first mid-course correction maneuver on Sunday morning, according to the China National Space Administration.

The administration said in a statement that the maneuver took place at 7:00 am when one of the spacecraft's main engines was activated and worked 20 seconds.

By that time, Tianwen 1 had flown more than ninedays and 18 hours in an Earth-Mars transfer trajectory toward the red planet, travelling about 3 million kilometers, the statement said, adding that the probe was in good condition.

During the probe's seven-month spaceflight toward Mars, it willmake several mid-course corrections and deep-space maneuvers to make sure it is precisely aimed at the planet.

"China's Mars probe over 8m km away from Earth"

    http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/a/20200...817261b68.html

China's Mars probe Tianwen-1 has traveled more than 8 million km away from Earth and is functioning normally, according to the Lunar Exploration and Space Program Center of the China National Space Administration Thursday.

As of 11:20 pm Wednesday, the Mars probe has traveled 8.23 million km away from Earth. Starting from 10:20 pm Wednesday, multiple payloads on the Mars probe, including Mars Magnetometer, Mars Mineralogy Spectrometer and High-resolution Camera, have completed self-check to confirm that they are in normal condition.

"China's Mars probe to conduct second orbital correction in September"

    http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/202..._139310603.htm

China's Mars probe Tianwen-1 will carry out its second orbital correction in September to ensure that it travels in the preset orbit, according to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC).

As the Mars probe travels further from Earth, the communication delay is increasing. Currently, the delay is about 30 seconds, and when the probe approaches Mars, the one-way time lag can be more than 10 minutes.
