    A few questions about satellites

    Hey everyone

I'm currently doing a physics report on satellites and need a little help.
I have to cover the following topics:

    • What materials are used in satellites and why theyre used?
What do the materials have to withstand in space and entering space?
What temperatures do satellites have to withstand?Do they effect the efficiency of the satellite?
What waves/signals and frequencies from the electromagnetic spectrum do satelites deal with?

If anyone at all can enlighten me on these topics i would appreciate it tonnes! Any formulas etc would also help loads!

    Cheers!

A quick google found this Lookheed site (they make satellites); looks pretty good. I'd start with that.

    And welcome to you, Z3R-0.
