    4.8 magnitude quake on the Big Island

    A magnitude-4.8 earthquake struck the Hāmākua Coast region of Hawai‘i Island at approximately 6:36 a.m., according to a report from the NWS Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Ewa Beach.

    USGS now saying 4.9. Looks like it was pretty close to Mauna Kea.

    Seems to track with similar situations in the past - Kilauea quiets down and Mauna Kea starts rumbling. Worth keeping and eye on.
