I hadn't heard that one.
It's surprising to me how people are surprised how fast a year transpires when they become older. One's 2nd b-day is an increase in age of 100%. At 50, it's ~2%. At 100, it's ~1%. Given the rules of calculus (Lim to infinity), eventually you will never age.
We know time flies, we just can't see its wings.
