DS9's Aron Eisenberg (Nog) has died at age 50.

Another article mentions that he had 2 kidney transplants in recent years. Also, he and his wife had to elope last year and were waiting to save up money to have a proper celebration. That seems very unfortunate, given how important he was to the franchise and how much he reportedly loved Trek and the fans. I mean, I don't know his financial details, but something seems sadly wrong here. I really came to love Nog in that series... sorry to see you go, Aron.

Well, if no one else will, I raise a root beer to Nog.

I'll raise another glass to him. Nog grew a lot during the series, sad to hear.

Just shocking. And we still don't seem to know why.
"Occam" is the name of the alien race that will enslave us all eventually. And they've got razors for hands. I don't know if that's true but it seems like the simplest answer."
