Please help me find a thread

This is a really common problem for me, probably because we are so good at derailing threads. There was a post where someone mentioned mispronouncing foliage as foilage, but I canít for the life of me find it. Can anyone let me know where it was? I found it from unread messages, so it canít be very old.

    Maybe try using google:

    ďCosmoquest <searchterm>

I sometimes have better luck by searching from the outside rather than use the forum search function.

I'd probably have taken a few minutes to find that myself, and I was the one who posted it.

Things that bug me: The search function on Cosmoquest has been useless forever.

Not just CQ. Same on other fora I visit.
Just use Google with the 'site:' specifier.

Yes indeed, site:cosmoquest.org followed by key words usually works well. For example, I followed with "Hornblower incredible" and among other hits I got a page from the year 2012 in which I had started a thread entitled "The Incredible (Shrinking) Hulk."

The search function on ISF actually works reasonably well.

Sometimes I really miss the “like” function here
