This sounds like a development of heat pipes where vapour and liquid circulate taking advantage of the latent heat to rapidly remove heat in vaporising the fluid in a small space. Heat pipes work by gravity or wicks but there might be other ways to return the liquid phase to the heat source, like maybe capillary action. Neat.

Likely not feasible with constant supply boils off unless it condenses elsewhere to liquid of the liquid that can be recycled.
