How much caf in decaf ?

I assume there is still some caffeine in decaf coffee. How many cups of decaf coffee would it take to get the amount of caffeine in one regular cup of coffee? Is there a good rule of thumb?

Depends on which decaf you drink, and what kind of coffee you think of as "regular".
A cup of filter coffee contains more caffeine than a cup of instant, which contains more than a shot of espresso, but the range is large. So we're talking maybe 50-150mg caffeine in a "cup of coffee", and maybe 5mg in a cup of decaff.

This webpage from the Center for Science in the Public Interest has a table of milligrams of caffeine for different coffees and coffee drinks (different brands, different brewing processes, etc.).

Looks like it ranges from 1 to 5 mg for 6 oz. of Maxwell House Decaf and 25 mg for Starbucks decaf, up to 398 mg for 20 oz. of Dunkin' Donuts Coffee with Espresso Shot.
