    Epidemic films

Semi-plausible 'End/Near End of the World' disease/pandemic biological movies are usually quite unsettling, especially when there's a real epidemic going on. To mind comes "The Satan Bug" 1966, "Natural Lies" 1992, "Contagion" 2011, "Outbreak" 1995, "12 Monkeys" 1995 and "Season of the Witch" 2011. Any others of note?

That's the first time I've heard 12 Monkeys described as "semi-plausible".

The Hot Zone - done as a miniseries based on the non-fiction book of the same name about containing an Ebola outbreak.

Not realistic, but "The Stand" had its warm and fuzzy moments. TV movie only. It's on YouTube.

Perhaps the disease, not the time travel aspect, I expect? Not sure how the series stacks up (or how much it undoes the movie).

I always liked "What's So Bad About Feeling Good?". A stowaway Toucan spreads a virus around New York City that makes people feel good.
