    Nearest Hot Jupiter

Which Hot Jupiter is closest to the solar system? I tried googling but I kept getting closest to the epistellar jovianís star.

Haven't been able to find anything because they lasted by their star, now if you had a table that included the stars coordinates you could probably find the nearest hot Jupiter.

Kepler wasn't really looking at close stars. I expect TESS will be reporting some nearby hot Jupiters soon.

An interesting question. The first hot Jupiter, 51 Pegasi b, is about 50 light-years from Earth, so you might go to a place like http://SolStation.com and check out stars that are nearer than that and see whether any have hot Jupiters. Although hot Jupiters are easy to detect, they're actually fairly rare, so 51 Pegasi b is probably still one of the nearest.

Also, 55 Cancri is closer than 51 Pegasi and has a hot or warm Jupiter, depending on your definition of the term.
