    This is really bothering me. Supernova's don't explode... they ARE the explosion of a STAR.


    How did a very reputable magazine let this slip thru the editorial process? This is being reprinted all over the internet and it makes you look mentally deficient.

    Maybe just a noun verb thing? An explosion explodes, we don’t have the verb “to supernode” ?
