The real reason for life in the universe

Something prior to this has left its mark on this one.

You won’t find it in the CMB.

    Evidence?

Please be aware that we are not supposed to discuss religion on this board, so if you are thinking of making such an argument, I would suggest reviewing the board rules.

If you have some scientific argument for what you think is the “real reason for life in the universe” though, let’s hear it.

You won’t find it in the CMB.
I won’t find what in the CMB?

I guess I'm also confused by the question. What do you mean by "reason"?

I think somebody has been watching been watching too much Star Gate Universe, in that story line there was suppose to be some hidden message in CMB. But that was science fiction.

My theory is that a time traveler stopped to pee in the prebiotic ocean, seeding it with life.

Everyone knows it was because Jean-Luc Picard solved Qs test and stop the anti time anomaly, and realized we did not travel in space but just needed to travel in ones mind.

Sounds like they need to see a doctor.

So how could we test this hypothesis?

Interesting that the OP has not posted again.

Well, when you start a thread and it almost immediately fills up with jokes, it's probably a little discouraging.

Perhaps, but this was posted in the Off-Topic Babbling section, there were serious questions and comments made and it appears the OP hasn’t been back since that post. Hopefully, they will have something more to say eventually. My guess is that this might be more appropriate for ATM.

That's my take on it. If you post in OTB, you should expect side comments and jokes. I'd move it to someplace more serious if I knew what the OP was talking about, but it is unclear if they are serious or not, and whether this is ATM or not. At 46 posts they are not a newbie, and should have at least a concept of how this place works.

I feel like this is a sort of question you would want to ask siri and she would say 42 or some none-sense like that

I assume that your post is in response to mine. I don't know what "Boom!" signifies. So please answer directly - what is the purpose of this thread? Is this a joke, or a serious discussion. Are you proposing a real reason for life in the universe, and if so, what is that reason.

Please answer with you next post.
