First you say "Something prior to this has left its mark on this one." Then you admit:

    Prior.

There is a room full of failed (didn’t produce the hoped for universe) that exists.
All perfectly testable once we’re all dead. Or before.

I have sent this thought elsewhere. But it fits here too.

The reason for life in the universe:

Is because the prior state involved life as a kind of Von Neumann probe that was inherent in the initial universe equation.
A self replicating imperfect/perfect robot/probe that will eventually make life in space in the way intended.
To continue life, even though the prior has died.

    I am died.

    It was a love letter.

    Prior universe had life.
    Prior universe died. (!)
Current universe has the same life.
I know, quite obvious. But if you didn’t know it, you wouldn’t know it.
    That’s all I know. (I don’t know - but we’re not the first time around- I reckon)
Cut your hair / it’s getting longer
