Are Jupiter and Saturn near their respective Perihelions?

With Jupiter and Saturn in conjunction, they are on the same side of the Sun, albeit separated by several degrees when viewed from the Sun. Where are they along their respective orbits? Are they near their perihelions? or Aphelions?

It is 778 days until Jupiter's perihelion (Jan 2023). Saturn will be at perihelion in November 2032. So, both are on their way toward it from aphelions a while back around 2017.

Saturn passed through aphelion a couple of years ago (2018), and is well short of perihelion (2032). Jupiter is about midway between aphelion (2017) and perihelion (2023).
