    When asteroid Appophis is entering in earth;s atmosphere

    somewhere i read that a football stadium sized asteroid is all set to struck into the earth's atmosphere in the year 2068,

    is there any information, what will be the impact of such asteroids striking in earth's atmosphere.

    have you read about it

    It's all set to miss Earth in 2068. The probability of a strike is currently set at 1 in 380,000. That's about the same as a person's chance of being struck by lightning this year.

    On the other hand, asteroid apostrophe is due for a semi-collision.

    The way my mind works (I use that term loosely) my post was the natural response to the typo in the thread title.
