    Black hole formation

Given current theory mechanisms, how long should it take to form central black holes of galaxies
Is it many times the estimated time since the big bang.

There is no obstacle to there being some way of getting matter to collapse into filaments and then pour into nodes in less than 100 million years. The problem you are referring to has to do with creating them starting with stellar mass black holes.
