Extreme Differences - Moon Rising Or Setting Times

The average daily difference between the rising times of the Moon from one day to the next is 50.47 minutes. Same for the setting times. However, these can vary widely, especially for locations far from the tropics. Below are the results of my calculations for the extremes as seen from near Chicago over more than two centuries.

Note that the inclination of Moon´s orbit fluctuates to 28,5 degrees. Which means that anywhere polewards of latitude 61,5, the difference between consecutive rising and setting times will exceed 24 hours. How do you call the phenomenon of Moon not setting? "Midnight Moon"? Ditto about Moon not rising.

"Midday Moon" seems to be common for occasions at high latitudes when the moon remains above the horizon for longer than 24 hours. I've heard "moondown" used for the period when the moon fails to rise in Antarctica, but don't know how common that is.

Indeed. And at any latitude greater than 58.8˚ there can be instances in which the Moon rises or sets at an earlier clock time than was the case the previous day.
