    Update: Hubble took its first picture since it went into safe mode on June 13th! More info here. On Sunday, June 13th, the Hubble Space Telescope gave the astronomical community a fright when its payload computer suddenly stopped working.     This is good news, however what about the next degradation of hardware pieces? Hopefully NASA is investing using robots to fix a potential problem. Or perhaps when SpaceX gets orbital operations with a redesigned crew capsule allowing space walks to fix similar the shuttle could be accomplished.
