The dog days of summer are upon us. From July 3 thru to August 11, The Dog Star, Sirius, will be rising with the Sun. The ancient Greeks believed the heat and weather that makes northern-hemisphere summer such misery were caused by Sirius adding its heat and light to our days.

The reality is it has nothing to do with Sirius and everything to do with thermal lag. But that reality is far less appealing of a story.

However you want to look at it, the heat is upon us, and for those of us around CosmoQuest, it means it's time to stay inside and work on planning the next season of Astronomy Cast and updating everything.

Now is your time to speak up if you have show ideas or a wish list for any of our programs.

What do you want to hear?

In love and science,
Pamela
