When do you think we will see an X-prize winner? Which team do you think will win?

    Let's hear your prediction!

I think it'll be won in the Autumn of 2004 by the Canadian Arrow. My second guess is going to be SpaceShipOne from Scaled Composites.

I think that the Scaled Composites team has the most advanced craft and is furthest along in the process; I am looking for them to launch at least once prior to the end of December 2003, possibly followed by a second launch inside of two weeks. More to the point, barring unforeseen glitches, I think we will at least see a first rocket-propelled launch of SpaceShipOne on or before the December 17th Centennial of manned, powered flight. Of course, much depends on the government approvals going forward smoothly, but Rutan is known to be good at 'doing his homework' and leaving nothing to chance.[COLOR=blue]
