Did anyone take a good look at the latest composite picture from Opportunity, the one that shows it out of the crater? You'll find it here...

I d/l the full rez jpg(5 meg) and found an unusual object. Its just below the horizon, just to the right of center. It *looks like* a man made object, but it seems too far away to be from the craft when it landed. It also looks too large.
    Any comments?

The heatshield is also out there.

Now, on Sol 58, Opportunity has returned to Eagle crater. I was wondering if they were going to poke at the white stuff seen all around the rim of the crater.

Well, unless the heatshield is standing up, this must be something else, as it is prominent on the horizon.

As for the 'white stuff', that just looks like rock to me.
