    You probably already know this, but that first image you posted is not Titan. That being said, this is a good idea for a thread today. Let's celebrate Huygens' images [hopefully we'll get them].

    i thought the pictures from Titan were a huge disappointment. not only a disappointment, but where are all of the 350+ pictures they said threy took?

    Here&#39;s one I posted in another section. An amature stitched these together, I just upped the gamma on it because it was a litte dark.

    You think they might find out from titan how the earth came together? would it be possible that there are living beings on titan or is the methane to deadly?

    Methane is deadly TO US. There are archaeic bacteria that consume methane on Earth. It is possible that Titan has living single-cell organisms on or in it, but I would guess against this possibility because of the extreme cold near the surface. At this temperature, the chemistry of life would operate very slowly.

    well what if there are creatures that are recistant against this all? There are loads of creatures on our planet that can handle toxics and cold environments where we would die. I think it would be possible. I also heard theres a change of life on europa, one of jupiters moons because the surface is made out of ice and there might be organisms beneath the surface. Is this true?

    they have like 50 on nasa but the titan is NOT a U.S. probe i thank the the U.S. will not get most of the pics
