Post mars is coming closer on 30th october...

mars is coming closer on the 30th october, so is there any kind of possibility of "planetary effect" on earth?

if mars goes equal to the same distance towards sun what drastic changes will be take place?

What do you mean by "planetary effect"? Mars was even closer in 2003 and I don't recall any cataclysms. Mars and Earth have had these close encounters for billions of years. So far we've been OK.

The planets follow stable, elliptical orbits. This means that sometimes the planets are closer to the Sun and sometime further away. The closest point is called perihelion. The point farthest from the Sun is called the aphelion.

Barring some tremendous collision or gravitational interaction with a Solar System interloper, the planets will tend to maintain the orbits they have.

You may want to check out this page from one of the two websites attached to this board. Mars isn't going to get as big as the moon. It's not going to destroy the Earth. Relax and enjoy Halloween.

    ??

Our atmosphere extends a few hundred kilometers up, Mars is not coming closer than about 70 million kilometers.

The atmosphere on Mars is mostly carbon dioxide with some trace amounts of methane. Besides, Mars and Earth never get close enough to exchange atmospheric gases. There's really nothing to worry about from this upcoming encounter. Just enjoy the view!

Suntrack, Mars is coming CLOSER, but it is not coming CLOSE. This is in the same way as the Gulf of Mexico came closer to my home in Michigan than it has in a very long time, but it is still not close at all and will not threaten my area in the slightest.

Mars will remain millions of miles away. The only difference you will note is that it appears somewhat brighter this year than it has other years. On the date of closest approach, you will not see anything different about it compared to any other days that week. It is not going to pop a lot closer all of a sudden at that time.
