Due to people joining our forum for purposes not in the best interests of the forum, we've unfortunately had to place some restrictions on what newcomers can do. Until you've posted more than a handful of times, you will not be able to:

- Add an event to a calendar
- Send or receive more than 5 private messages or send a private message to more than one recipient at a time
- Have a signature at the bottom of your messages
- Edit your own profile

Additionally, if you put a link or email address in the text of a message, or use certain suspicious keywords, it will be held for moderator review to ensure that it's not spam. So such messages will not seem to post right away; however, we get to them as promptly as we can.

You will know when these limitations are lifted because your user status (indicated in the line below your username at the top of each post) will go from "Newbie" to "Junior Member."
